Installation process

6 years ago (wow - time flies!) I posted this suggestion for what I thought was a clever approach to software installation based on the "0install" concept:
I was just thinking about how wonderful it would be to have an entire OS where the concept of software installation was obsolete, and I thought I'd check back here to see whether you guys had gone in this direction.
What is the current plan for software installation in JNode?
