There is a very active discussion at javalobby.org started by Valentin Chira about interest of a java OS like JNode (thanks Valentin for supporting us)

That pdf document is speaking about JikesNode.
I have not read it but they are speaking about JNode.

From the name, I can guess it's about merging jikes RVM and JNode ... interesting.

JPC at JavaOne 2007

Look at page 49 of that pdf document, which was presented at JavaOne 2007.

I would like to thanks Chris Dennis and Rhys Newman for having spoke (a bit) about us at JavaOne.

We think that there is great things to be done with JNode & JPC together and they are complementary products. Moreover, running JNode in JPC could help us greatly to debug lower levels of JNode.

JSysOS

I have found another Java OS called JSysOS : it is written with C, C++ and java code. They have been inspired by JNode and jos (as they say) but don't want to fork. I would prefer that you join us but good hope guys !
