Poll : what bug tracker should we use ?

The intent of that poll is to find a better bug tracker than the one we use currently.

Please reply here to give your opinion on the bug trackers you know and that you have already used.
Give both the advantages and disadvantages you have found.

To fit our needs, it should be open source or at least have a free licence for an open source project. Moreover, it should not have a lot of technical requirement and should be easy to use and administrate.

[OT] Bug Tracker Organization

While a little off topic for this node, I would like to offer an idea for any update to the bug tracking:

Provide separate categories for the JNode subsystems:
JNode-All
JNode-Builder
JNode-Core
Jnode-Docs
JNode-Distr
JNode-FS
JNode-GUI
JNode-Net
JNode-Shell
JNode-TextUI

Or, eventually by packages within those categories?

P.S. how do you define "better" bug tracker than the one you have?
What are the criteria to evaluate and choose between them?

There are a bunch listed here:

Launchpad

What about hosted solution like https://launchpad.net/ from Canonical Ltd. (Ubuntu). If you want to minimize maintenance / admin costs, it might be the way to go...

Mantis

What do you think about Mantis bug tracker ?
I have heard it can be easily customisable and I will test it soon.

yes, I also recommend mantis

I recommend Mantis. Whilst it is not as fully featured as some other bug trackers, IMO it is good enough for most. It is also very simple to setup, much more so than BugZilla.

No thanks.I have tryed it

No thanks. I have tryed it on some projects at my previous job. It's simple too simple and you will very fast loose track of the project.

Bugzilla

Bugzilla is good and well integrated in eclipse via Mylyn.

Bugzilla

I've used Bugzilla in the past, and it does a good job, IMO.

IMO BugZilla is excellent

IMO BugZilla is excellent but it can be a pain to set up fully, especially if you are going to use all the graphical reporting facilities. Mantis is much simpler.

I'm also prefering JIRA,

I'm also prefering JIRA, besides there are plugins for intergrating into IDEs like IntelliJ (Jira Browser) and my guess is that the same is true for Eclipse.
