What is the default true type font used in JNode? I'm making a danish KeyboardInterpreter, but typing 'ø' gives something that looks like a degree sign, so I just wants to check the ttf file.

where do you type? in console? we use no font there...the console works with memory screen. can you type that character in DOS? or linux text console? I think not.
Maybe this is placed in the wrong forum, but where do the font in the console come from? I'm testing in VMware and are getting a degree sign when I should get and 'ø' and € is converted into '1/4' sign.
I don't know how vmware emulates things, but the console font comes from the video bios. If you are familiar with those video diagnostic tests which display character sets at various resolutions, that is them.
