Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone and a happy 2008

I hope that Santa will bring Jnode a very good year ( Maybe a real life usage ).

Agreed!

Indeed! Merry Xmas, Boxing Day, and Happy 2008 to all!

Jnode may not be my main desktop yet, but its looking pretty usable already. The more I dig into it, the more impressed I am. Smiling

I have a standalone system with 0.2.6-dev r3636 booting and running from its own ext2 disk/filesystem right now.

I put in my own GRUB logo and menu for booting, my own desktop background image[1], and copied practically every scrap of Java I have laying around into my Jnode machine.

So far, compiling and running my test apps is looking pretty good using leed, javac, and java.

It's going to be fun to get an IDE like BlueJ, Netbeans, or Eclipse running, but I want to build out Jnode as the server OS for my homebrew Java MUD first. It should be a lot of fun for 2008.
