How to write display driver for a particular device.

Hai guys,
i want to write a device driver program to display the information in a particular device.
I don't have any idea about that.
Can any one help me to write that one?

Be a little more specific. What device and what you want to do with your program ? You can also read code of existing device driver to understand the architecture of device management. Feel free to join us on IRC for more infos/help.
