which version of grub ?

I have discovered that there is multiple version of grub with a presentation on the GNU site.

Which version are we currently using ?

With grub 2, the boot loader aim at beeing more plateform independant.
As some JNode members are porting JNode to Mac architecture,
they may be interested.

We're currently using 0.93. There are newer versions out there, but i have not yet found a fully compiled one. That is a version of grub that has all the network drivers compiled in.

About grub2, i don't know their exact status, but i think they have not yet published any releases.
