running JNode inside emu486

Has anyone tried to run JNode inside emu486, that is a 486 emulator ? I tried to configure it for using JNode iso (by modifying the file simulator.cfg) but can't boot JNode.
This emulator is running an OS in debug mode (execute asm instructions step by step). I think that it could be particularly usefull for nanokernel and JNasm debugging.

Bochs debugger
Bochs emulator have kernel level debugger integrated
If emu486 emulates Intel
If emu486 emulates Intel 486 it would not support JNode.
JNode needs x86 CPU with PSE (read 4MB pages) which is supported from Pentium II and above
