I have 3 years of Java programming experience.
How long do you think will it take to implement the ATAPI stuff? Do you already have some specification at hand?
I'm asking since I would like to contribute but I'm a little bit busy right now.
Depending on your experience with OS driver development it will take several days to several months. Take a look at the IDE driver, to give you an idea.
