Integrate Squawk technologies into JNode

I suggest the authors of JNode look into Squawk which was recently open-sourced by Sun: https://squawk.dev.java.net/

It includes an architecture for writing device drivers in Java and other components that might interest you. You could merge your efforts.

Has anyone else had a deeper look into it? Are there any pieces that might be sharable with JNode?

They are targeting it towards mobile/embedded devices, I wonder how much of a difference that would make compared to desktop/server devices.
