How to install Jnode to USB flash drive?

Hello,
I want to try Jnode OS on my PC, but I don't have any CD drive and I´m not able to run Jnode in QEMU (kernel panic). Is there any way how to install Jnode to USB flash drive (I'm beginner in this)?

I'm not sure if you'll find this helpful, but ...

I've never tried QEMU. However, I've had quite a bit of success with running JNode under VMWare Server (which is free), allocating at least 512MB to the VM. "Quite a bit of success" is, of course, relative. It is still quite slow to boot up and run.

I've never tried to create a bootable system. Maybe someone else can chime in.
