Status of JNode

What is the status of JNode? Is JNode dead? The Ohloh status look not good.

I think about to contribute to the project. But is it not clear what is working and what not. All the pages look very old. As I have the last look on JNode there was many problems in the VM self. Are this fixed? Without a working VM it make no sense to work on the OS.

No, jnode is not dead, it's still in development but we are only a few active developers.For the moment, i'm busy with cleanup of the filesystem part of JNode and implements more testing. FabienD has setup a git repository on gitorious, so you can make a clone and contribue.
