How is it going with this topic? Has there been many responses and how do they look? I mailed you some, but is it possile to display the incoming button like the time the logo was shown?

You can publish your buttons by putting them on your own webserver and then putting a link in a comment in this topic. If you browse through the earlier posts you will find some links to button images in them.
Only problem is that I don't run a webserver on my own. I can't see why I should use my time on setting up server for private usage, nor having a homepage at a isp like many used to have. To me it seems better to use the jnode site instead of alot of distributed servers where we don't have a overview on what is on the jnode site.
Buttons
Hi all,
Here are all the button send to me.
If you have more, mail them to me.

The link "Here" is broken
The above link "Here" is broken because its target is the jnode screenshots instead of the "I like jnode" buttons page.
And the link for the logo "JNode - the Java OS" (in the bottom right side of the site) is broken too (http://www.jnode.org/node/node/831).

My 5 cents
I'v also taken some time to create some button variants:
1st Red Button
2nd Red Button
1st White Button
2nd White Button
Everyone may use them as a basis for own experiments.

Sebastian
I Like the white ones
I like the white design, particularly putting the "I Like" up the side... I'll make a variant with the same feature.
I can add the drop shaow as well, if that's what you mean with "3D".
What's Pappin'n?
Melon Cat
Maybe we could create a larger button with the melon cat from your homepage
That would be fun.

Thought that was funny![Smiling Smiling](/modules/smileys/packs/example/smile.png)
Time to replace it though... it been there for a while.

Created New Link Logo
Not sure if people will like it, but I thought I take a few moments and create a linking Logo for JNode.
See: jnode_link.png
Another slightly different
Another variant... my two are slightly narrower than the others so the "I Like" up the side was not practical in terms of whitespace and readability.

That's looking good
Maybe you could make a third one with a 1 pixel violet border so that it's self-contained on white backgrounds.
As Requested
1 pixle border as requested.

Great!
You have my vote!
I like it
But, in my opinion, it would be better with a '3D Button' style.
Maybe, the 'like' word can be replaced by an heart image but I find it not necessary.

3D button style
Personally, I'm not partial to the 3d look, but some are... I think there is no reason not to have several options.
