If you are speaking about the Graphics2D class, look at its javadoc.
Otherwise, there is no particular specification : simply look at the code and try to make the implementation faster or implement missing parts (if any).

Frankly, I see no Graphics2D implementation in the source code, and as I know (if its true of course), JNode uses the OpenJDK implementation, so from where to start for implementing Graphics2D ?
the IRC channel is empty, is it working ?
